WATERWAYS Upgrade Unit
Instructions for replacing existing unit with Waterways Twin U/Sink CC1 Water Purifier.
These units are designed to replace an existing twin filter set - to enable an upgrade to CC1. The mains connection and drinking water faucet that are already there, remain untouched and presumably - if it were required when the system was installed - there should already be a pressure limiting valve in place. If there is not, you would need to assess the pressure in the area before perhaps recommending that the customer should have one installed. It is however fair to assume that if the existing housings have withstood the ravages of time that the replacements will also (even if no PLV is fitted).
Installation is a really simple exercise. Just a matter of snipping the plastic tubing at the point at which it enters the old filter, removing the old filter and replacing it with the new. It should not take long as in most cases you don't even need to change the screws that hold the bracket to the wall.
